The Forge Weapons Tier List: Complete Stats & DPS Rankings (2025)
Most guides just tell you "Great Swords are good." But which one? The Dragon Slayer swings faster than the Skull Crusher, but the Skull Crusher hits harder. Which one actually deals more damage over a 10-second boss fight?
To answer this, we didn't just play the game; we did the math.
Below is the complete the forge weapons tier list and data table. We have listed every weapon found in the game files, including their Base Damage, Attack Speed, and calculated DPS (Damage Per Second).
Important Note: "Base Damage" assumes a standard 1.0x multiplier. Your actual damage will be much higher depending on the ores you use (like Darkryte or Galaxite).💡 Don't Craft Blindly: Even the best weapon is useless if you mess up the recipe weight. Use our Home Page Calculator to ensure you get the exact weapon variant you want.
📊 The Complete Weapon Stats Table
We sorted these by Raw DPS potential. Note how some "lighter" weapons actually out-damage heavier ones because of how fast they hit.

🏆 The Meta Highlights (Detailed Analysis)
Based on the data above, here are the specific weapons you should care about in the forge weapons tier list.
1. The DPS King: Dragon Slayer (Not Skull Crusher!)
Many players think the Skull Crusher is the best because it has the highest single hit number (48.0).
- The Reality: The Dragon Slayer hits slightly softer (44.0) but swings significantly faster (1.12s vs 1.40s).
- Verdict: Over the course of a fight, the Dragon Slayer outputs about 15% more damage than the Skull Crusher. Unless you are trying to one-shot a weak mob, build the Dragon Slayer.
2. The Hidden Gem: Rapier
Look at the table again. The Rapier has a DPS of 30.61. That is higher than almost every Great Axe and Katana.
- Why it's OP: It has an attack speed of 0.49s. It is almost as fast as a dagger but has the reach (8 studs) of a sword.
- Build Tip: If you put Fireite (Burn) on a Rapier, you apply stacks incredibly fast while keeping a safe distance. It is arguably the best "Light" weapon in the game.
3. The "Trap" Weapon: Long Sword
Do not craft this.
- The Stats: It has the same damage as the Crusader Sword (24.0) but is slower (1.11s vs 1.00s).
- The Result: It has the lowest DPS on the entire list (21.62). It is strictly worse than its counterpart. If you roll a Long Sword, you probably messed up your ore weight.
4. The Specialist: Hook
While standard Daggers are great, the Hook deals nearly 10% more base damage per hit (9.46 vs 8.6) with only a tiny speed penalty.
- Verdict: If you are building a pure assassin build (high crit, high speed), the Hook is technically the highest damage-per-hit option in the lightweight class.
How to Craft Specific Variants?
You might be asking: "Okay, I want a Dragon Slayer, not a Hammer. How do I control that?"
This is the tricky part. The game decides which variant you get (e.g., Tachi vs Uchigatana) based on the exact weight and rarity value of the ores you use.
- Heavier ores (like Galaxite) push you towards heavier variants (like Skull Crusher).
- Lighter/Sharper ores (like Diamond/Lightite) push you towards lighter variants (like Dragon Slayer or Rapier).
⚠️ Stop Guessing: You cannot eyeball this. If you want a Rapier instead of a Cutlass, you need to check the recipe probability.Go to our Home Page Calculator now. Input your ores, and see exactly which weapon variant you are going to get before you craft.
